Erin Smith is an indie-rock and pop artist, based in Hawaii.

Over her career thus far, Erin has built a name for herself as a powerful and emotive vocalist, with a strong stage presence and hook-laden songs.

She has been described as a “powerhouse” (NOW Magazine, Toronto) – one with that “je ne c’est quoi” (808 Scene Zine, 2009) that comes naturally to those who are born performers.  She is also known as a “fashion ambassador of rock n’ roll” (Frolic Hawaii, 2015) and is prominent in the fashion scene for her unique, fearless and vibrant style.

2015 marked the release of Erin’s solo album, “American Boy.” The album was released to critical acclaim and the lead single, “Love Long Distance featuring Illis It) landed her a spot in regular rotation on iHeart radio’s Star 101.9.  Impressed with the single and it’s potential for widespread success, Star 101.9 asked Erin to perform her new album live on the air, which she and her band did in the summer of 2015.

“Already a well-known entity in the local Alternative scene in Honolulu as the lead singer of the Throwdowns, Erin Smith’s debut solo album delivers a definitive smash with “Love Long Distance.” We believe this track’s truly unique sound has what it takes to travel far across the Pacific and become a national hit at Alternative.” – Jamie Hyatt, Program Director for Star 101.9

In 2016, Erin was featured on four episodes of France’s popular reality television show, Les Anges. Erin and her song “Chances” reached millions of viewers, and the show has featured other notable people including Snoop Dogg and Kim Kardashian.

National acts that Erin has performed with include Train, Panic at the Disco, The Fray, Matisyahu, Daughtry, Jack Johnson, Sublime with Rome, the Dirty Heads, Bad Brains, Boyz II Men, Sammy Hagar and many more. Most recently Erin opened up for the sold out Silversun Pickups show.

She has been nominated for 4 Na Hoku Awards (Hawaiian Grammys) as the lead singer of her former band, The Throwdowns, and for her new “American Boy” album.
